
At the University of Digital Economics and Agrotechnologies, a roundtable discussion was organized with the participation of students on the topics “National Values and Their Role in the Spiritual Life of the Nation” and “How I Understand the Threat of Religious Extremism and Terrorism.”
The event was aimed at promoting the preservation of national values among young people, deepening their understanding of their role in society, and preventing the spread of dangerous phenomena such as religious extremism and terrorism.
During the discussion, Odil Xolikov, Chief Specialist of the Yakkasaroy District Department of the Tashkent City Territorial Administration of the Committee on Religious Affairs, emphasized the importance of fostering a healthy worldview among youth, nurturing them in the spirit of patriotism, and strengthening respect for national traditions.
In addition, Shuxrat Masaliev, Head of the Counterterrorism Department, spoke about the essence of religious extremism and terrorism, noting that these are dangerous ideologies that threaten social stability, human life, and peace under the guise of religion.
It was also stressed that young people should develop a conscious immunity against such harmful ideas and adopt a critical approach toward any suspicious information or calls.
