Admission Rules for International Students:

UDEA accepts foreign citizens who have an educational document issued by a foreign educational organization. Documents in a foreign language must be submitted with a notarized translation into English or Russian.

  • The document submission period is from April 1 to August 30.
  • Interviews with candidates are conducted from June 1 to August 30.
  • Document registration is open until August 30.

  • Educational documents issued by foreign educational organizations are subject to a notification procedure in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan after the individuals are enrolled during the first academic period of study.

RULES FOR STAYING IN UZBEKISTAN

International students arriving in the Republic of Uzbekistan are divided into two categories:

Foreign Citizens Requiring a Visa to Enter Uzbekistan:

After an applicant has passed the interview and entrance exams, the university issues an invitation to apply for a visa. The registration and submission of the invitation take several weeks, so the following documents must be submitted to the university no later than 30 calendar days before the start of studies. The required documents for obtaining an invitation to apply for a one-year student visa are:

  • A signed contract between the university and the candidate for study;
  • A deposit of 50% of the total tuition fee for one year deposited into the university’s account;
  • Payment of the visa fee;
  • A completed visa application form.

Depending on the student’s country of citizenship, the university may request additional documents. For timely registration, all international students arriving in the Republic of Uzbekistan must notify the university administration within 3 working days.

Foreign Citizens Who Do Not Need a Student Visa to Enter Uzbekistan:

Such students are required to undergo migration registration at their place of residence for the entire period of study. For timely registration, all international students arriving in the Republic of Uzbekistan must notify the university administration within 3 working days.
