The official visit of the UDEA delegation to the People's Republic of China has concluded successfully. The visit resulted in several high-level agreements aimed at expanding international partnerships and integrating global innovations into the agricultural sector.
During the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with Xinjiang Agricultural University. Furthermore, in collaboration with representatives from JSCB "Agrobank," productive negotiations were held with the China Agricultural University (CAU) - one of the world's leading institutions in agrarian sciences.
Notably, CAU consistently holds top positions in prestigious international rankings, such as ARWU and U.S. News & World Report, for its excellence in agricultural research and education.
Following the negotiations, both parties agreed to develop the following priority sectors:
Official Partnership: Signing of a formal Memorandum of Understanding in Tashkent this coming May;
Research Center: Establishing a dedicated CAU Research Center at UDEA;
Joint Educational Programs: Launching dual or joint degree programs;
Student Mobility: Organizing summer schools and student exchange programs at the CAU campus for UDEA students;
Farmer Empowerment: Implementing specialized training programs specifically designed for Uzbek farmers at CAU.
This partnership underscores UDEA's commitment to being more than just an educational institution; it serves as a vital scientific and practical platform driving the innovative development of Uzbekistan's agricultural industry.
