Today, ecology is a global issue. Climate change, waste, and the severe damage inflicted on our environment are increasing humanity’s need for awareness with each passing day.
In cooperation with the Executive Committee of the Central Council of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, University of Digital Economics and Agrotechnologies organized discussion with the participation of students on “World Cleanup Day”. The event was attended by our university professors, representatives of the Ecological Party’s Central Council, and active students.
During the discussion, Mr. Ulugbek Pirmukhammadov, Head of the Department for Organizing Public Environmental Control and Working with Appeals at the Executive Committee of the Central Council of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, gave a comprehensive talk about the importance of “World Cleanup Day”. He elaborated on the initiatives being carried out in our country, particularly the challenges and violations identified during local eco-raids. He also emphasized the vital role of young people in protecting nature and fostering ecological culture.
Held in a spirit of sincerity and open dialogue, the event provided our students with valuable information about environmental protection, ecological culture, and its development. They received detailed answers to their questions and presented their own ideas and initiatives for solving ecological problems.
Encouragingly, many students expressed their wish to join the party’s “Young Volunteers” initiative. Their names were recorded by party representatives. At the conclusion of the event, the most active participants were awarded memorable gifts from the party.
