On October 1 celebrated as Teachers and Mentors’ Day — a meaningful and engaging event was held at our university. As part of the celebration, an intellectual competition titled “Zakovat” was organized, where 10 teams made up of both professors and students tested their knowledge, intellect, and wit against one another.
“Zakovat” is an intellectual game designed to sharpen knowledge and reasoning, develop logical thinking, and strengthen teamwork skills. In this contest, participants worked together as teams to answer thought-provoking and challenging questions across a variety of topics.
The game included questions on history, literature, science, technology, and general world knowledge, each of which encouraged participants to think deeply and critically. Throughout the competition, the teams demonstrated unity, quick thinking, and an eagerness for knowledge.According to the results, the “Teachers” team, composed of our university’s dedicated professors, proudly claimed the championship title.
During the award ceremony, Ms. Gulnora Qodirovna, Head of the Department for Youth Affairs, Spirituality and Enlightenment, remarked:
“A person’s knowledge always elevates them. In this very first round of the knowledge contest, our teachers emerged victorious. I wish all of you the best of luck in the upcoming ‘Zakovat’ competitions, and may you always remain thirsty for knowledge!”
At the close of the event, all participants received commemorative gifts and letters of appreciation. This intellectual game not only served as a platform for testing knowledge but also helped to further strengthen the warm and friendly atmosphere between professors and students.
