The University of Digital Economics and Agrotechnologies warmly welcomed its newly admitted students by hosting the traditional “Induction Week – 2025.” This week-long program marked the first step into higher education for our first-year students and was dedicated to introducing them to new opportunities, a friendly atmosphere, and modern facilities awaiting them at the university.
The opening ceremony began with the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan, followed by an inspiring address from the Rector, Professor R. R. Abduraupov. In his speech, the Rector emphasized the university’s values, its mission to deliver quality education, and its goals in fostering a high culture of knowledge and development. The faculty deans also called on the students to pursue their studies in the spirit of research, initiative, and creativity. All professors extended their best wishes for a successful and fruitful academic year.
In the first days, students were given a campus tour to get acquainted with the university’s facilities. They visited the Information Resource Center, the cafeteria, medical service rooms, faculty dean’s offices, and other departments. Volunteer students warmly greeted the newcomers and helped them adapt quickly to the new environment.
In the following days, students attended training sessions on information and communication technologies, rules for using ID cards and electronic systems, as well as lectures about the examination process. They also received guidance on effective study methods, time management, and making efficient use of academic literature and resources.
To make “Induction Week” engaging and memorable, various games, contests, and group activities were organized, creating a spirit of friendship and collaboration. Senior students shared their knowledge and experiences with their new peers. The events concluded with a lively mass dance and performances by artists, leaving an unforgettable impression on student life.
Thus, “Induction Week – 2025” became not only the students’ first step into university life, but also a process that instilled in them a love for their university, boundless respect for teachers, enthusiasm for learning, and lasting bonds of friendship. Today, a new generation of our university takes its first confident steps on the path of knowledge and discovery with great ambition and thirst for learning.
