On October 23, 2025, a spiritual and educational meeting on the topics “Combating Ignorance through Enlightenment” and “The Primacy of Human Dignity and Rights — the Foundation of Progress” was held at the University of Digital Economy and Agrotechnologies.
The event was attended by professors, teachers, students, and spiritual educators. As an honored guest, Associate Professor Yorqin Alidjanovich Shukurov from the Department of Arabic Language and Literature “Al-Azhar” of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan was invited to the meeting.
In his lecture, Yorqin Alidjanovich Shukurov emphasized the importance of fostering spiritual immunity in society, protecting young people from harmful ideologies, and strengthening the values of patriotism, tolerance, and humanism. He underlined the idea that “Enlightenment is the most powerful weapon that conquers ignorance.”
At the conclusion of the meeting, all participants were encouraged to read more books, seek knowledge and intellectual growth, and embody the principles of humanism in their daily lives.This meeting served as an important spiritual lesson for students and participants, reinforcing in their hearts the values of patriotism, justice, tolerance, respect for human rights, and living through enlightenment.
