A meeting on the theme “We Stand Against Drug Abuse” was held at UDEA

UDEA organised a gathering aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people, encouraging conscious decision-making, and raising awareness about the harmful consequences of drug misuse.

The meeting was attended by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs, Spiritual-Educational and Academic Affairs, Doctor of Economics Sh. Aktamov, along with faculty deans and responsible staff members, who shared their views and insights on the topic.

During the event, several key issues were discussed in detail, including:
• the negative impact of drug use on mental and physical health;
• concerning trends observed among young people;
• preventive measures needed to reduce risks and protect students.

Clear action plans were also developed to strengthen prevention efforts and support student wellbeing.
At the end of the meeting, recommendations were put forward to help young people stay vigilant, avoid harmful behaviours, and choose a healthy and positive lifestyle.
