An official message from the Rector of the University of Digital Economics and Agrotechnologies, Professor Abduraupov Rustam Ramzovich, calling on students, parents, and academic staff to remain vigilant about the dangers of drug abuse and drug-related crimes.
Official Address
Dear students, respected parents, and esteemed teachers,
First of all, I wish to address each of you with deep respect and sincerity. A child is the joy of a family, the pride of a nation, the mirror of its values, and the foundation of our future. This is why parents devote their days and nights to their children, teachers guide them with knowledge, and we — as a higher education institution — bear a great responsibility for shaping the bright future of our youth.
Dear students!
Today’s world demands resilience, strong willpower, and vigilance from every young person. We are all aware that drug addiction and related crimes pose one of the most serious threats to the lives and futures of young people. This danger often hides behind thoughts like “nothing will happen if I try once,” “my friends insisted,” “I just want to experience it,” or “I can control myself.”
But in reality, it gradually destroys one’s clarity of thought, weakens judgement, and ultimately derails an entire life.
My request to you is simple: stay alert, stay mindful, stay responsible. Do not trade your future for a momentary impulse or a passing emotion. Your health, dignity, dreams, and ambitions are precious — not only for you and your family, but also for our country.
Respected parents,
The upbringing of our children is a shared responsibility — of the home, the school, the university, and society as a whole. Speak openly with your children, listen to them, and never be indifferent to their emotions or concerns. Care, attention, and trust are the strongest shields protecting young people from harmful influences.
In today’s rapidly changing information environment, raising awareness about the dangers of drug abuse has become one of our most urgent duties.
Honoured teachers,
Your service to society is invaluable. Every lesson and every interaction is not only a transfer of knowledge but also a life lesson. Being close to your students, noticing their emotional state, understanding their challenges, and guiding them in the right direction must become our shared priority.
Sometimes a single remark, a timely piece of advice, or a helping hand can change a person’s life for the better.
Dear all!
Today, more than ever, we must unite around one purpose: protecting our youth from harmful influences and ensuring they grow up healthy, educated, and devoted to their country. Fighting drug-related crimes is not only the responsibility of law-enforcement bodies — it is a responsibility shared by all of us.
Let us be firm against harmful propaganda and negative influences. Vigilance is the demand of our time.
Remember: the future of our nation depends on our unity, awareness, and responsibility today.
