A Debate Competition Aimed at Enhancing Student Engagement Held at UDEA

In order to increase student engagement and develop independent thinking, analytical skills, and a culture of communication, another debate competition was held at the University of Digital Economics and Agrotechnologies. The debate focused on the topic: “Using public transportation in cities is more efficient and advantageous than relying on private cars.”

During the debate, students presented their viewpoints supported by clear arguments, analytical approaches, and factual evidence. Both teams — “Opposition” and “Proposition” — examined the topic from different perspectives, discussing issues related to urban infrastructure, environmental impact, convenience, economic efficiency, and transport management.

According to the results, the “Opposition” team won the debate due to their well-reasoned and convincing arguments.

Such intellectual events play an important role in broadening students’ perspectives, strengthening teamwork skills, and increasing their social activity.
